How it works

Pads on the right muscles
Electrodes sit over the glutes and the pelvic floor area, so you do not need gel, water or any insertion.

Pulses make the muscle contract
Electrical muscle stimulation sends pulses through the pads and causes involuntary contractions, similar to squeezing the muscle yourself. The 20–50 Hz range is used for toning.

Two modes, seven levels
Choose the hip mode for the glutes or the intimate care mode for the pelvic floor, then raise the intensity one level at a time until it feels strong but comfortable.

Do I need gel or to insert anything?

No. The shorts are non-invasive and gel-free. The electrodes are built into the fabric and sit against the skin.

What does it feel like?

A tapping, tightening or lifting sensation as the muscle contracts. Start at level 1 and increase gradually. It should never be painful.

How often should I use it?

JOVS recommends about 20 minutes a day. Many users start with three or four sessions a week and build up.

Is the 30,000 Kegels figure a clinical result?

No. It is a brand claim from the JOVS product page, not a clinical finding. Think of the shorts as a consistent, hands-off way to train the area.

Who should not use EMS?

Do not use if you are pregnant, have a pacemaker or other implanted electronic device, or have skin irritation or open wounds in the area. Check with your doctor first if you have any medical condition, and read the manual.

How do I choose a size?
